Payment structures depend entirely on the nature of your project. For fixed-scope projects, we require an initial deposit to secure your spot on the schedule, cover the upfront cost of ordering materials, and fund the beginning stages of labor. Throughout the project, we will schedule milestone draws. For dynamic projects billed on a time-and-materials basis, we instead issue invoices on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule as work progresses. We will clearly outline your specific payment path in your initial agreement so there are never any surprises.

We can cover as much or as little of the process; design, build, management, you name it. You don’t have to worry about ordering materials, coordinating different trades, or managing timelines; we handle the moving parts so you can just focus on the final result. We are always open to discussing different options. We have tackled projects in so many different ways that we are pretty comfortable speaking up if something doesn’t feel right.

Crafted Living blends project management with versatile craftsmanship. Instead of just managing from a distance, I am deeply invested across the entire project, handling logistics while jumping in hands-on wherever I am most valuable. For specialized infrastructure, from electrical to masonry, I partner with a trusted, curated network of licensed tradespeople. These are professionals I have spent years filtering through to ensure they are not only masters of their craft, but people of great character.

Every project is unique, and because we focus heavily on the details, a generic quote usually isn't accurate. We prefer to review your form, chat through your goals, and look at the physical space before giving you numbers you can actually rely on. There is rare situations we can price over the phone, sometimes even give you a time and material cost, but for the most part, we like to meet in person.

In reality, construction is a daily grind of problem-solving. Issues happen, but our rule is simple: we stay calm and communicate through it. We won't ghost you or hide a challenge. We pick up the phone, explain what's going on, and present a practical solution to keep things moving forward. Spending your hard earned money and making 436 decisions a day for extended periods of time will be stressful and draining. Rest assured of our awareness and willingness to make things go as smooth as possible.
